Plot[]
Sonny starts a Walk-A-Thon for books to raise money for libraries in needy areas. After seeing Sonny's Walk-A-Thon ads, Chad decides to start his own Walk-A-Thon against books. In order to make her Walk-A-Thon more publicized than Chad's, and to get Tawni to participate in it, Sonny asks everyone to wear Tawni Hart's Extreme Skinny Jeans to the Walk-A-Thon for books. Chad sees how hot Sonny and her cast look in the jeans, and buys some for his cast as well. The day of the Walk-A-Thon, Tawni claims she can't move her legs. Sonny gets upset at her, before realizing that Tawni isn't faking when paramedics come into their dressing room and take Tawni to the hospital. At the hospital, the doctor tells Sonny that Tawni has a severe case of SPS, Skinny Pants Syndrome. Tawni and Sonny watch the TV in horror as all the participants in the Walk-A-Thon for books and the Walk-A-Thon against books collapse from SPS and are rushed to the hospital. Everyone except Tawni only has a mild case, but Tawni has to wear 'medicine pants' to help her. After, Grady asked if they were doing a clown sketch. The 'medicine {C}pants' are so hideous that Tawni refuses to wear them, going against the doctor's orders. Tawni's fans follow in her footsteps, causing them all to get SPS. When Tawni sees what she has done, she feels horrible about it. Sonny tells her that she could help a lot of people because of who she is. In the end, the cast of So Random! and Chad
sing a song called "Stop SPS." During the credits, Chad is in hospital and has a case of LBS, Lack of Book Syndrome (aka Lazy Butt Syndrome) and reveals that his middle name is removed and is donated to Grady, who is now Grady Dylan Mitchell (Chad Dylan Cooper). But it turns out it was just a weird dream when Chad wakes up after sleeping while reading a book.

Trivia/Goofs[]
- The title is a parody on the expression "Walk a Mile in My Shoes" which means to see things in another person's perspective.
- This is the 1st time a full song is featured in the series.
- Also 1st time where the whole cast sung a full song (except for Zora).
- The Song "Stop SPS" is a parody of "We Are the World" for Haiti and "Send it On" for Disney's Friends for Change.
- SPS is actually true in real life, but it is not called SPS.
- The shirt Chad was wearing when the doctor told him he had LBS was the one he was wearing on his fake date with Sonny in Sonny With a Chance of Dating.
- Starting from this episode, Sonny's appearance changes: as her hair is darker and her clothing choices are more girly.
- This is the second time where a main character is absent in the first episode of a Season. (in that case, Zora). The first time was Sketchy Beginnings, where Chad did not appear in.
- Starting with the episode (in airing order), the show is taped at Hollywood Center Studios. But, in production order, they used Hollywood Center Studios first for Falling for the Falls Part 1.
- Since they start filming at Hollywood Center Studios, the Prop House changed a bit for the colors of some props, and the addition of a new So Random! stage and logo.
- Chad is actually moving his legs when Sonny hits him with the pillow, but during that scene he isn't supposed to be able to.
