Mrs. Montecore (Patricia Bethune) is a Blossom Scout leader in the episode Cookie Monsters.
Background[]
Mrs. Montecore began as a Blossom Scout leader in Wisconsin, where she was Sonny's leader. Mrs. Montecore forever haunts Sonny as she is the reason Sonny did not become a full-grown Blossom scout when she was eight-years-old. Sonny was unable to prove that she did in fact know how to save a choking victim, and so, Mrs. Montecore snatched away Sonny's sash and declared, "Sonny Munroe, you will never be a Blossom Scout!". Sonny remains distraught over the memory as she tried to help Zora become a full-grown Blossom Scout.
"Cookie Monsters"[]
Presently, Mrs. Montecore has moved out to California to be a "scout leader to the stars". She now acts as Zora's, and eventually Dakota Condor's, Blossom Scout leader. She has not changed much from her days as Sonny's Blossom Scout leader. She becomes angered when she finds out that Sonny, who is acting as Zora's cookie selling partner, pulls a girl from Dakota and Chad's line and proceeds to kick Zora out of the Blossoms. She allows Zora to rejoin the Blossoms, later in the episode, when she reveals her knowledge of sprained ankle first aid. And eventually, Sonny is able to show Mrs. Montecore that she does know how to save a choking victim (Chad), and Sonny is allowed to become a full-grown Blossom. Sonny and Mrs. Montecore appear to end on good terms upon the conclusion of the episode and she even invited both Sonny and Zora to the Blossom Scout Jamboree.
