Gassie is the star of the "Gassie the Toot'n Pooch" sketch. He's a dog who speaks by passing gas. Bella, his owner/trainer, mentioned that Gassie is the only dog in the world that can communicate through his butt cheeks. At one time, they planned to make a movie about him entitled Gassie and We, but whether they went through with the movie or not was unclear.
In "Gassie Passes", feeling that Gassie doesn't get the affection that he deserves from Bella. Sonny takes it upon herself to show the dog love, love that it doesn't receive from Bella. Sonny even claims that Gassie reminds her of her dog, Lucky, from Wisconsin. Sonny then finds out that giving the dog affection affects Gassie's mood to flatulent on command when filming the "Gassie" sketches as well, jeopardizing the feature film Gassie and We and the sketch. Sonny then gives Gassie too many dog treats that may have killed him. In the end, it turns out Gassie was in shock from too many meatball treats and receives the love he deserves. Sonny treats Gassie better than the rest of the So Random! cast, who couldn't care less about him. Gassie tricks Chad into thinking that he killed him at the end of the episode, when in actuality Gassie was just helping Sonny mess with Chad.'
