A Chad Dylan Cooper Story has been compared to Selena Gomez's movie Camp Hip Hop. Sonny, Tawni, Nico and Grady all ditch the movie for Camp Hip Hop. Even Chad admitted "Hey, this is better than my movie."
Trivia[]
- It seems that the movie was filmed and produced in a day because Chad told Sonny that they were going to start filming. Afterward, in the closing, Chad comes in and says, "Hey, my movie is on." Sonny replies, "Something better is on." Although they were in the same clothes as in their auditions.
